Lokalee, a Dubai-based traveltech startup, has secured $5.6 million in pre-Series A funding led by Crown Private Fund. The investment, which includes strategic investors with expertise in the hotel and technology sectors, will fuel Lokalee's expansion into Austria, Germany, and Saudi Arabia by 2023.

Founded in 2019 by Samir Abi Frem, Lokalee operates as a B2B platform, providing a streamlined way for hotel customers to view and book rooms along with related amenities. Currently serving 200 companies across 20 countries, including well-known brands like Movenpick, Sheraton, Rotana, Sofitel, Hilton, and Millennium, Lokalee aims to optimize the digitization of the guest journey with the new funding.

Samir Abi Frem, CEO of Advanced Digital Technology and Lokalee, expresses satisfaction with investor confidence, affirming the platform's potential in the global hospitality industry. The funding will be utilized for product development and the introduction of an AI-powered travel planner, blending technology with human-provided data to offer personalized insights.

Lokalee's ambitious expansion plans align with its commitment to technical efficiency and a personalized approach, reinforcing its position in the competitive traveltech landscape.
