Dubai-Based Wize Raises $16M in Pre-Seed Round for Sustainable Logistics Expansion
Dubai-based logistics startup Wize raises $16 million in a pre-seed round co-led by a consortium of angel investors specializing in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The funding will support Wize's expansion across the United Arab Emirates, fuel product development, and foster new alliances in the MENA region.
Wize offers a comprehensive suite of services tailored for retail and delivery companies, including electric motorcycle solutions, a rental and subscription platform, battery-as-a-service, and innovative battery-swapping stations. The company, claiming to be the first in the UAE to implement such stations, has already partnered with sustainable logistics firm Motoboy.
CEO Alexander Lemzakov emphasizes Wize's commitment to providing innovative solutions for achieving net-zero emissions and reducing carbon footprints in the delivery sector. The raised capital will facilitate the company's mission to contribute to sustainable logistics practices in the region.
With a focus on environmental impact, Wize aims to lead in the adoption of electric vehicles and eco-friendly logistics, addressing the growing demand for sustainable last-mile delivery solutions in the MENA region.
